numbb 0 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 I was annotating a pdf in evernote, when the pdf reader crashed. Now I get the following message when I try to access the note:Missing viewer for a resource of type "application/pdf" is this document gone? Kind of defeats the purpose of using evernote if i have to worry about having back up copies of pdf. Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,589 Posted October 1, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 1, 2014 You didn't say which client you are running on (WIndows, Mac, Android, iOS, etc.) What this means is that somehow the link between PDF files and your default external viewer for PDF files is broken, probably at the OS level. You may be able do an open-with operation (you can do this on Windows). You can try rebooting, and maybe that will resolve the problem. Otherwise, you will need to re-establish the connection between PDFs and your preferred viewer; this varies by operating system. Link to comment
