Privacy permissions for Web Clipper on Safari

Idea

Hi all,

I've been trying to scour this forum and the web for info regarding how permissions work for the EWC on Safari. I know that in Chrome, it must have access to all web browsing, tabs, etc. because of the way Chrome permissions are designed (all or nothing). I'm wondering if Safari is different. It seems like I should be able to grant permission to Evernote to access pages I ask it to clip, without needing to share my entire browsing history at all times. So, the question is as to whether ( a ) the clipper has permission to access all my browsing at all times, ( b ) whether it actually does, and ( c ) I'd like to know this information for Firefox as well. I'm looking for a way to use Evernote such that it doesn't access data about everything I do on the Internet, which it doesn't need (it's enough that Google has all this info - esp. for those of us who use Chrome).

I appreciate any clarification of this. Thank you!
