Android mobile version messes up formatting for desktop

Recommended Posts

Ideally I would like to edit my task lists in Evernote on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and have it transfer exactly as it is laid out on my phone to my desktop, where I primarily use it.

When I edit the task list on my phone, it messes up the formatting and results in a bunch of my tasks being pushed off the check boxes onto their own line. It looks like it only does this to tasks that have indented text on them, but not to all of them. I indent when I have sub-tasks going.

This creates a lot of reworking to reformat my task lists and it makes me upset. :((((

Help me fix this on my end or do I just need to work around it? Maybe you guys can fix it asap?

There's general agreement that lists don't display too well in any version of Evernote - best suggestion for a workaround; cut and paste the list from another application,  or attach that application's file to your note.  There have been a lot of requests for better editing features.
