Add Reminders immediately!

The new WebClipper for Chrome is awesome.

 

There is one thing, though, that I would like to see changed: add the option for adding a reminder to the first panel instead of the confirmation, please. I would like ot add the reminder while sorting and tagging, rather than having to wait until the clipping is done.

We need a note ID to attach the reminder to and that ID is currently only available after the clip has been saved to the Evernote service.

Thanks for the explanantion, jbignert. I would assume that the same is true for the tags and notebook selection, though. Why not just create a reminder and pass on the data to the note to be created. As soon as you have an ID you can add the tags, notebook and reminder information to the note. Or am I missing something?

There are 2 separate API's for Reminders and Note creation.

All right, but as a software engineer, I don't see the problem.

 

It should be possible to create the note using the parameters required by that API (which returns a note ID) and then create a reminder for that note ID right afterwards. Two sequential function calls, I presume...
