Evernote Touch Notes View

I'm using Evernote Touch on a Windows RT tablet, and I'm wondering if there's a way to hide the left hand column that displays tags and other info in the note view. I'm using the tablet vertically, as a kitchen cookbook, and that nearly blank column takes up almost a third of the page, rendering the text of the actual note I'm trying to read way too small.

 

Maybe a full screen view of just the note? Relocate the tag info to the top/bottom of the page? Increase the font view size without changing the actual font in the note?

 

I kind of hope I'm missing something obvious here...
