I have the same issue. I use a Mac (OS 10.6.8) and upgraded to premium to get this function. But when I right click or do ctrl +click, I just get a menu at the top of which is displayed "open and open with".

Annotate does not require a premium account. It does however require MacOS X 10.7+

Anne-Laure:

1) What version of Evernote are you using?

2) what type of file are you clicking on, an image or a PDF?

3) Is this file attached to an Evernote note?

4) In the note info/edit bar for a note, there a button between the alarm clock and the projector screen that looks like a little arrow with an "a" on the top and a little tag at the bottom. What happens when you click this button?
