Ease of Editing a Note on Android

Recommended Posts

I use Evernote on my iphone, ipad, laptop, and Nexus tablet. On the Nexus tablet that runs Android I find it very frustrating that I have to tap the pencil icon to edit a note that already exists. On my ipad, I just tap in the note to indicate where I want to type. On the Android I have to press the pencil and then laboriously scroll until the cursor is where I want it. Please make this change on the next Android update.

Agree. It is ridiculous that the "pencil" action returns you to the top of the document. I don't mind having to press it so much. I am more ...disoriented by the method of selecting text, because I often do "select all" copy and paste and after 30 times I still haven't understood how it works. It is like every time, I have to find out and discover how it works, AGAIN. Something I find myself messing about in frustration because I'm doing the "wrong" thing again. Selecting text on Android is annoying as hell anyway.
