Evernote on Kindle

I have downloaded Evernote onto my Kindle for use at meetings where there is not always internet access. When I launch the software on my Kindle, it keeps asking me to log in first which is impossible if there is no internet available. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance!

If you log out of Evernote, you must log back in & that does require internet access b/c it needs to confirm the account exists.  You can try not logging out & simply closing the app.  Please search the board on "offline notebooks" as well, since you either need internet access or offline notebooks if you want to access existing notes when you don't have an internet connection.
