What are you trying to copy?How does it not work? Are you getting an error message? A beep? Is it just failing silently? Link to comment

Evernote Version 5.5 (402491 Direct) MacBook Pro OSX - Version 10.8.5 Current Mac OSX is 10.9.1 Im using the App store public version and its working fine for me so I cant comment on the Direct version. Maybe upgrading the OSX could fix this or using the App store version? I don't think the file is large for the OSX update. See if there are others here with this problem. I've tried copy/pasting to/from many different programs, including within Evernote itself (ie. I can't copy from a note and paste it within the same note!). All it does is the "Edit" menu item will flash blue when I use the keyboard shortcut Command+C or Command+V. Edit: for clarity Link to comment
