Animated gif's no longer animate within Evernote if clipped with the Web Clipper

Title says it all. If I right click a gif and choose "Clip Image" or "Clip Full Page" and sync to my desktop Evernote client all I get is a static image of one of the gif frames. If I download the .gif to my desktop and drag it into the Evernote app it works fine. This is on Windows 7 Home.

Nobody has a solution?

From my experience the temporary solution is to clip as "article" which will save the whole gif (while clipping as "whole page" only saves a png).
