Nest shortcuts

Recommended Posts

I have many saved searches, notes, etc. pinned as Shortcuts. I'd like to be able to nest them as I do tags.

Does anyone else think that would be a good feature?

Thanks!

Hi Bill and welcome to the forums.

Here is what I do to accomplish some of your ideas.

Put one note in the Favorites Bar called: "xx" I call mine Daily.

In that note copy the "note links you want to be listed."

Now when you need one of your "Daily" notes, just click the Daily button and up pops all of the link, now just click the one needed. Sure keeps the Favorites Bar clean.

I agree! That would be a great feature. My shortcuts list is getting unruly.

Bill's tip is a great hack for organizing shortcut notes. I wish I could apply it to the tags and saved searches I've added to my shortcuts list. But there's no way to copy a link to those, unless I'm missing something.

Totally agree with Clutter

My Shortcuts is full of "index" pages or "Table of Contents" pages -- you can search how to make those.

For example I have shortcuts:

Bills index (which has list of links to notes  Bills, phone company, Gas company, etc)

ToDo list -- Note page with links to large and small projects

Project A -- Index page with all related notes to that

My shortcuts aren't any longer than 10
