TedHull 0
When Evernote links are clicked in iCal events, ical launches Safari and then gets an error that the page cannot be loaded. How do I make ical open the link in Evernote? Link to comment
johncclayton 2
Hi Ted, What is the link you are embedding in the iCal feed? I've done this - in a very round about way. My link looks like this (I changed the user id and guid): https://www.evernote.com/OpenNote.action?noteGuid=d3a0d9d0-a629-4303-804d-d1ef96f392dc&shardId=s7&userId=123456 This will open safari, and then if Evernote is installed the note opens in Evernote, otherwise it offers to have the user log into the Web UI for Evernote. TedHull 0
Thanks. Actually seeing your link was very helpful. If I paste the note link as created by Evernote directly into the url field of iCal, the link does not work. If I paste the link first, then extract the weblink text from the link, then paste that text into iCal's url field, then it works correctly. Link to comment
