(Archived) Backing up data on my Mac

stanwelks

Idea

I'm a Premium user and am using Evernote on my Mac with two accounts that I switch back-and-forth between. I want to make sure that I have a backup of everything.

1. I open an account and select all my notes choose file > export notes .enex

does this backup everything for the account?

2. Do I now need to open the other account and do the same thing or is it already backed up from step 1?

3. Anything else I need to do to back my data up? other files?

Thanks!

Don't do it that way - back up your Evernote folder:

Data location
If you downloaded directly it's in user/library/application support/evernote
If you downloaded from the app store it's here ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote
And, if you have an iMac with a fusion drive, it might be here
/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data/Library/Application Support/Evernote/account/<your username>/

Unable to find the EN local folder on the Mac.  Following all instructions.  Only EN file/folder is application folder.  How can I backup notes without the local folder?

Hi. Here are my thoughts on backups. Time Machine is easy.
