(Archived) Time Stamps

I am a new user to Evernote.  I just want to make a list of stuff, I don't need the time or the auto naming feature which I turned off in setting but on the home page thumbnail there is still a time, or "yesterday" for each item/line.  How do I turn that time off, I don't need it and would like to eliminate it, please.

In the Evernote client for Android allows you to configure the note list as either snippets or list items. Click on the header item just to the right of the Evernote elephant logo, and for the "View As" setting, select either "Snippet" or "List". The list view should be more compact (more items on the screen). Unfortunately, both views contain the time stamp; as far as I know, that cannot be turned off.
