The easiest way for me to save web clips to Evernote has been selecting the text+images I want followed by right-click in the mouse and select the "Save selection to Evernote" option. More convenient and direct than going up to the web clipper in the toolbar.
I noted that after upgrading to Safari 6.1 (with latest OSX Mountain Lion) the right-click option for Web Clip capture is not working. Right-cliocking would still display the usual menu, but selecting any Evernote option does not do anything. This functions seems to have been lost.
