(Archived) Evernote lags or feels choppy in Xperia ZL

I really like the features offered by Evernote. Whenever I use this app on my Xperia ZL everything works perfectly except when i create a note or view the note or scroll any note. It becomes so choppy that it makes me wonder whether i have a 1.5GHZ quad core processor or 800MHZ single core processor.

 

Specification - 

a) Xperia ZL - 

   i) 1.5 GHZ Quad core snapdragon s4 pro

   ii) 2 GB ram.

   iii) Free space 9 GB(internal)

   iv) Android 4.2.2

 

Evernote 5.3 build AM_53_173

 

I have tried clearing the cache, history etc, restarted my mobile quite a few times. But that doesnot solve the problem.

 

Please kindly someone tell me what to do. If there is nothing to do then i would like to request the developers that you guys are doing a wonderful job and please kindly do something about it. Please.

Same Evernote build on Android 4.1.2 works OK for me.  What are you creating a note out of?  Typed text / clipped web page / PDF ?

I was viewing the "getting started" manual. Then i viewed a normal text only note. Both felt choppy and it seemed like evernote was doing something in the background. But I'm sure it wasn't.
