(Archived) Recently used tags

I think that would be great if Evernote for Android tag selection form can fill with "Recently used tags" instead of only a message.

Do you mean "recently added" tags? "Recently searched for" tags?

I second this!  Or, just display the tags instead of a teaser that says "they are right here, but I'm not going to show you until you tap again!" 

Two columns (or more depending on portrait/landscape screen size) of tags with buttons would be awesome.  Even if the entire tag string isn't displayed I would guess most people's tags would be discernible with only ~5-6 characters.

I fail to see why Evernote Devs chose NOT to display the tags right away, forcing unnecessary taps:

Tap 1: "tag"

Tap 2: tap inside the box to bring up keypad

Tap 3++: type the tag first few chars

Tap 4: select a tag

 

How about:

Tap 1: "tag"

Tap 2: select the most used/recent tags

Some people have uses cases where this wouldn't work, because they use common prefixes on tag names to make some types of tag searches easier.
