(Archived) Subfolders/Substacks

Hello,

 

Can you add substacks as a feature? Currently I can stack notebooks so I have a stack of notebooks but I think it would be cool to have substacks so folders inside of a stacked notebook.

Hi - welcome to the forums.  If you search around here,  you'll find a LOT of discussion about folders (ie 'substacks') versus tags and notebooks.  It seems very unlikely that Evernote will edge away from the current model.

I used to love using Microsoft OneNote but the lack of a Mac OS App which forces me to have to log in online and do work from there made me start switching to Evernote. I liked the ability to have multiple layers per category. That is really the only thing I wish was added. Thank you for your reply though!

Tags provide multi-level hierarchy for your notes.

And EN gives me another good reason for switching... I read somewhere that OneNote for Mac will be released with Office for Mac 2014. Can't wait.
