safari (Archived) Web clipper does not accept password after turning on two-step verification

Recommended Posts

As stated above - all of a sudden, the web clipper extension simply refuses to acknowledge my password, since I turned on two-step verification. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I had the same problem. You have an old version of the Clipper installed (you can tell because the Remember Me option is no longer there in the latest version). I assumed Safari would keep the Clipper up-to-date, but it did not. Reinstall the latest version from http://evernote.com/webclipper.

Thank you very much! I tried to update via Safari with no luck. Manually installing the latest version did the trick!

I had the same issue here. Updating didn't work, so I de-installed the web clipper from Safaris settings panel, closed Safari, then opened it again and downloaded the web clipper from the link "dem" gave us. Back in business. :)
