(Archived) overlapping text found in evernote windows version

Hello,

    When I copy some text from a HTML page, and paste it on evernote, an overlapping could be found. As shown in the attached figure. Any solution? thank a lot

Hi Zueliang,

 

Are you sure this is happening with every page you try it on?

 

I have found some pages are worse than others. Two solutions I can think of:

 

Don't copy and paste, use either Clearly or Clipper

 

If you really must copy and past, paste by right clicking in the Note and selecting 'Paste As Text' which will paste the information in using your existing text settings.

 

I am sure there are other solutions, but those are mine.

For notes that exhibit this problem, you could try right-clicking in the note and selecting either "Simplify Formatting" or "Remove Formatting". You can also do this with a selection in the text.
