After installing the Evernote desktop app for OS X for the first time, some of my other printing workflows were deleted.
These printing workflows are items stored in the ~/Library/PDF Services folder. They can be added manually, or managed from the Print dialog PDF drop down "Edit Menu" item. I use these workflows several times a day.
The reason I think that the Evernote install may have deleted the items is that Evernote creates an alias in PDF Services folder named "Save PDF to Evernote."
I was able to restore them from a Time Machine backup, so it is not a huge problem, but it might be worth looking into. I did have a system freeze soon after the install, so that could have been a factor. Cause or effect? I don't know.
If someone has a suggestion for a different reason those workflows/aliases might have been deleted, I'd like to hear it.
