reeder ipad,can't put the article in Evernote

When I touch the Evernote icon,reeder ask me to fill the account information. But it appear again and again and again. It is sure that I type the right account information.

What can I do?

Having the exact same issue. iPad version of Reeder asks for my Evernote credentials when I tap on the icon to clip an article. However, the credentials are not accepted and it simply asks for the credentials again.

Very frustrating as the iPhone and mac versions work flawlessly!

INTRO

 

I'm experiencing the same problem, but ONLY on iPad 2.

 

I tend to doubt it's an iOS problem, as I am on iOS 5.1.1 and yet am having the exact same experience (i.e., Reeder keeps cycling on the Evernote login screen).

 

 

DETAILS

 

I have an iPhone 3GS and an iPad 2, both iOS 5.1.1.

 

WORKS: Reeder (latest version, 3.0.6) syncs just fine with Evernote on my IPHONE 3GS.

 

DOES NOT WORK: Reeder for iPad (latest version, 1.5.7) does not sync with Evernote on my IPAD 2.

 

 

SUSPICIONS

 

First, I think the problem is specific to Reeder for iPad (v1.5.7).  Is anyone having this problem with the iPhone version?

 

Second, and possibly important, I noticed that the iPhone version has to bring up Safari to perform the initial Evernote login and authorization for Reeder to do certain things with my Evernote account.  Indeed, the iPhone version of Reeder even brings up a pop-up notification when attempting to setup Evernote syncing telling the user that they will be taken to Safari to do the login and authorization.  The iPad version, however, does NOT present the user with this pop-up notice and does NOT switch to Safari but rather asks for the user's Evernote account creditionals within Reeder itself.

 

Thus, I thnk there's good reason to believe that the problem is localized in Reeder for iPad's internal implementation of setting up the Evernote syncing.

 

Interestingly, I thought that perhaps my iPad version would start working after I had success with the iPhone version, but getting the iPhone version working unfortunately did not resolve the problem on the iPad.

Finally, and more generally, then, I have strong suspicions that the PROBLEM IS WITH REEDER FOR IPAD and NOT with Evernote.  Thus, probably one of us should be taking this up with Silvio Rizzi (Reeder's author).  Has anyone contact him or Reeder about this yet?

Same here, but now also with Reeder for iPhone. Today I had to logout and when I tried to log back in again it accepted my login details (unlike Reeder for iPad) but save to EN still "failed". I'm pretty sure it worked before the recent EN password reset. I haven't updated either apps or my iOS version recently.

 

As a workaround, you can still email articles from Reeder to EN, but obviously this isn't how it should be.

Same here. I can log in to Evernote via Reeder (3.0.6) on the iPhone 4 (6.1.2) but not via Reeder (1.5.4) on the iPad 3 (6.1.2).

I'm having the same problem. I think it's a result of the recent forced password reset or even the new 2-step authentication mentioned by Evernote. Other apps that integrate with Evernote seem to have no problems, at least after logging out and back in again. I tried this with Reeder to no avail. I suppose it could be either service.

I've had this problem for a while now too.  Contacted the developer about a week ago; no response.  Thinking of switching to Feedler Pro, especially now that Google Reader is closing.  Anyone with experience with it?

I tried Feedler Pro but despite its claims that it cashes feeds for offline reading I could never get it to work, so personally I wouldn't recommend it. BTW Reeder is apparently working on a post Google reader solution.

+1 for unable to login to Evernote from Reeder for iPad.

I think this started to happen around the time of the Great Evernote Password Reset, but cannot be 100% sure.

I've never been able to login to Evernote from my iPad with Reeder, and I got Reeder before the password reset. I looked on Reeder's Twitter feed, and the developer told iPad users that he is still working on an update for iPad. Might have something to do with it? But since I can login fine on the iPhone version of Reeder, it looks like there is a bug with the iPad version.

Well, with Google Reader going away in a couple of months, I imagine the developers are focused on either creating their own backend for synchronizing, or developing interfaces for one or more other rss services.  So, I doubt they're going to be worried about the direct Evernote interface until they first ensure that they can stay in business.

 

Perhaps after they figure that out, they'll can address this Evernote issue.

 

As others have noted, one workaround for the time being is simply to select "Mail Article" in the Reeder app and email your article to your Evernote account.

An old thread, but here is a solution. I had the issue too on iPhone (iOS7.1.2 & latest Reeder 2).

Copy the link which Reeder 2 sent to Safari and paste in another browser—I used Chrome. From there you should be able to authorize Reeder 2 to access Evernote.
