(Archived) Note has disappeared

I have Evernote installed on a Windows 7 laptop and an Android phone.  When I went to find my note, one that I have been updating on a regular basis on both devices, it was gone.

 

Needless to say, this makes me very nervous as a fairly new (within past couple months) Evernote user.  I cannot continue to use this product if notes are going to disappear on all devices, a problem that I thought Evernote was supposed to be the solution to.

 

Very disappointed.

 

Does anyone know if there is a way to way to retrieve a note?  Is there a temp file location?

First thing is to use the web client to look for the note. You should also check the Trash folder there. Failing that, I would open a support request.
