Maybe I pocket dialed them but I dont think so. Is this a known thing? Seems very very odd and Id like to get rid of them in bulk if I could. Link to comment

If the tags appear then they're definitely a part of your Evernote database. If not, then something is wrong with your Android setup. Perhaps an uninstall/re-install cycle would help at that point.
