(Archived) How to create a New Business Notebook

Trying to create a new Business Notebook. Whenever I create an new Notebook, it goes into the Personal Notebooks. How do I specify it to go into the Business Notebooks?? Using the Windows app.

By windows app, do you mean Desktop Windows or Windows 8-Metro Style? With the Desktop app, if click on file, you should have an option to 'Create New Business Notebook.' Evernote Business is not currently supported by the Windows 8 - Metro Style app.

I have tried to restart the app, logged out and back in. No change.

Hi arwaypatrik,

Assuming you have installed the Evernote business software and re booted it then you should be able to create a notebook fairly simply on the Mac

File, New Notebook, Business Notebook!

Sorry, but as you can see in the screenshot there is no such option (I have a Swedish version of the app but look for "Arkiv" and "Ny anteckningsbok". The option "Ny affärsanteckningsbok" is missing).

It looks like you are still on the personal version.

Have you managed to upgrade and re boot the software?

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that it's the business version since I have the link to Business Library (Swedish "Affärsbibliotek"). Rebooted twice and I have tried two different computers (both Macs).

I raised a ticket and got in contact with the support. The problem was solved by an upgrade from 5.0.0 to 5.0.4. I should have checked that I had the latest version...
