(Archived) Make it more apparent what's syncing, progress bar, etc.

On iPad, I'd like some more visual indication of the syncing process. For example, the syncing "circle" in the top right doesn't spin/light up/anything during syncing. Since that's what you hit to start sync, it should indicate the sync progress. A progress bar would also be really nice. There's plenty of room between my username and the sync "circle" on the top bar to put a progress bar during syncing.

Yup, no indication means I don't know if it's working and I don't know how long it's going to take.

IIRC, this is one of those ellusive things. Originally was there, then not. Then it returned & I guess it's gone again. Maybe it's shy.

Yup. Definitely there in the last beta, but somehow got deactivated again in the release build.

And for the desktop version as well.  When clicking on Sync Status, the barberpole isn't even moving.  It would be nice to see what files are being synced as well.  But maybe start with some sort of movement in Sync Status.

Huh. There was a progress bar in the iPhone version until very recently. It was a very, shall we say, unobtrusive one. On the other hand, the iOS version seems to by syncing faster for me.

I'm referring to the Desktop version.  If anything, things such like this should just simply function.  I can understand such issues in iOS but not Desktop.
