(Archived) [Kindle Fire] How do I make the navigation bar while reading a note?

I like to read a lot of notes on my Kindle Fire. However the navigation bar that appears at the bottom of the note makes the already small kindle screen inconveniently smaller.

Now, I've learned that for notes with images, if I click the expand button on top, it first expands the first image full-screen. Then when I click the contract button, it goes back to the note but without the navigation bar.

However, this two-step process gets annoying when you are reading many notes, and I cannot do the same thing for notes without images as they don't display any extension button like notes with images do.

So how can I just make the navigation disappear so I can read notes feeling the screen wider?
