Moodboard Generator?

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I've read that Evernote might develop an app that can "create a scrapbook or moodboard – extract notes from a specific notebook and assemble a well-designed scrapbook."

Does anyone know of a way to do that now?

I run a small t-shirt company and clip designs, illustrations and other inspirations constantly. I would love a way to present groups of notes all on one page.

Thanks!

Where did you hear that? Can you provide a link?

Oh sure, it was on Evernote's own site: http://blog.evernote.com/2011/06/14/the-evernote-developer-competition-app-ideas/

Exploring Pinterest. This is exactly what I'm looking for in terms of building moodboards, except all my clippings are in Evernote. Plus there are no private Pinterest boards.

Image Spark is also really interesting, but again, no Evernote integration.

OK, I see, thanks. That's just Evernote throwing out ideas for third-party apps for a developer's contest -- I don't think that they have plans of building such an app themselves (though it's not impossible). You've probably looked already, but in case you haven't, you should check the Evernote Trunk: http://www.evernote.com/about/trunk/

This is pretty much a year and a few months later but Pinterest now has added an option to make create boards that are kept secret. So they are hidden form public/community viewing and only you and those you assign to pin on them can see them.

More about that here: https://en.help.pinterest.com/entries/22277603

However at the moment of posting this you can have a maximum of 3 secret boards and once a board is made public, it cannot be made secret again. I'm hoping they'll change that in the future.
