(Archived) Can't see the list of notes?

I've been using Evernote for a while but never ran into this problem: now, whenever I click on any notebook on the left side, it seems to display the first note it can find in that notebook. However, it doesn't show me the list of notes in this category. I don't see a way to force it to let me browse.

How do I get it back into note browsing mode when clicking on notebooks?

Maybe you have some other search criteria than just notebooks in the search bar?

OK, I found the solution: pressing F11 toggles the "Note Panel" open and closed. Maybe I hit the key by accident at some point.

There ought to be a button for this in the list of notebooks, since this is really confusing once this mode is activated.

There is a button for this in the view menu at the top.

The note panel and the note list are independent as far as their visibility, though the note list does respond to selections in the note panel. obviously. May is correct, note list visibility has a menu item in the View menu, and myself, I think that that's sufficient.

Evernote itself includes a basic screenshot facility. Windows 7 includes Snipping Tool.
