(Archived) Suggestion: Automized saving webpage screenshot to Evernote

I love web design and the following steps are my daily tasks.

1. Use Awesome Screenshot on Chrome to capture the whole webpage.

2. Open Evernote and copy the jpg file to a new entry.

3. Add title and address to the entry.

I believe this workflow can be automized and added to the Evernote Chrome extension. Please consider it. Thanks!

I use a different Chrome extension that does basically the same thing. I have automated the process myself by saving the images in a folder that I told Evernote to watch. The title of the webpage is the file's name which becomes the note's title. I still have to add the address manually, but that's a small price to pay.

Yes, import folder(s) are very handy to have. You can set up one (or several) import folders. Go to:

Tools >> Import folders

Yes, unfortunately. However, you can use AppleScript on a Mac to get similar, if somewhat sluggish, behavior.

You can use a mac app called Hazel (great app!) to watch folders and import into Evernote. The app does many other things - you just set up rules.
