(Archived) Can't sync

All of a sudden my desktop client cannot sync w Evernote servers. Any suggestions on what to do? I can get in via the web, and I have tried exiting and reentering the client, as well as rebooting.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What version of Windows and Evernote for Windows are you using?

Is Evernote reporting a "Sync Failure"?

What do the last 10 lines of Help -> Activity Log show immediately after a Sync?

Windows Vista, and Evernote 4.5.2

Yes, reporting sync failure.

Evernote for Windows, like many other Windows applications, uses IE components for Internet functions.

If IE has been set to "Work Offline" then EN can not connect to Internet.

e.g. IE8 -> Tools -> Uncheck "Work Offline"

  • 1 year later...

When I go to Internet Explorer Connection Tab to set the proxy it crashes.

However I'd like to understand if Evernote sync uses internet explorer options.

Is it possible to set evernote to write a verbose log?
