So I scan a document using "Image Capture" and save the document as a PDF. I then drag that PDF in to a new note, but it is not searchable. In a related post Dave mentioned that EN will not index an image in a PDF. Is that what is happening in this case as well?What am I missing here? How can I scan a document such that it is able to be indexed by EN? Link to comment
engberg 89 Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 If you add an image to a note (JPEG, GIF, or PNG), then we will run image recognition on that. If your scanner supports PNG, you could scan into a folder and then drag the PNG files onto Evernote. Link to comment
