When trying to install for windows I got an error saying media1.cab file was corrupt (I believe). So i deleted the install file and redownloaded it and now it works fine. Just thought I'd share my error message with the evernote people :)

I'm surprised you haven't gotten a response on this question. I'm having the same problem - every time I try to install the Windows version of Evernote, I get the media1.cab error message. Since it seems that Evernote doesn't care, if I don't hear soon, I will remove it from my tablet and find another product to use.

This is not a problem with Evernote, this is a problem with the way your browser is downloading the installation file.

Try downloading the installation file with another browser instead, and using "Save As" to save it to another location on your hard drive. Or, use a file manager like FlashGet to download the file from our site, to circumvent your browser completely.

This worked for me.  I had downloaded it via Firefox and was getting this error.  After seeing Heather's post, I deleted my download, then re-downloaded it via Firefox and also Chrome (for kicks) and then re-ran the install and this time had no issues.
