So i deleted the install file and redownloaded it and now it works fine. Just thought I'd share my error message with the evernote people Link to comment

I'm having the same problem - every time I try to install the Windows version of Evernote, I get the media1.cab error message. Since it seems that Evernote doesn't care, if I don't hear soon, I will remove it from my tablet and find another product to use. Link to comment

Or, use a file manager like FlashGet to download the file from our site, to circumvent your browser completely. Link to comment

Lyonya-z 0 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 I got the the same error "The cabinet file 'media1.cab required for installation is corrupt an cannot be used..." I downloaded it by Flashget, from IE, Chrome, nothing helped.Could somebody help by advice? Link to comment

After seeing Heather's post, I deleted my download, then re-downloaded it via Firefox and also Chrome (for kicks) and then re-ran the install and this time had no issues. Link to comment
