I made the mistake of linking to a shared notebook:

The notebook does not appear in Evernote web nor in the Mac client, and it is not listed in the shared notebooks section of preferences.. Every sync from my client (2.0 beta) takes a long time and errors out with can't sync to ralph's notebook, invalid content.

Is there someway to reverse this?

I don't really used shared notebooks and was just trying it out.

It appears that there's a problem with the note in your account with this title:

"Evernote shared notebook: ralph's notebook"

Could you try making a small edit in this note on your Mac client and then try to sync again?

Oh, wow. You're correct. I had not synced the shared notebook, but had clippered the web page for it.

I tried changing it (the title, and adding some text to the body) but that didn't work. I deleted the note and I'm back in business.

Do you recall how you clipped that page to your account? E.g. did you do it from Safari using our native elephant icon, or did you do it from Chrome or Firefox?

I did it from Safari with the elephantine clipper.

Also, I clipped it twice, consecutively (being in a hurry and not remembering if I had previously).

If it matters any, EN was getting sluggish, and after having move the two ralph notes to the trash, and emptying the trash, eventually became unresponsive and had to be force quit.

Also, if it matters, I'm one of the ones reporting the long hang n load time (about 20 minutes) with the 2.0 beta (currently 115692) on my MacBook with Leopard.

Johan, are you looking under the drop-down menu "Help" on the Evernote app? Do you see "Activity Log"?

Alright actually I wasn't using the last version of the app so there was no 'Activity Log' under Help !

So now I updated my version but I lost all my notes that hadn't been synced because of the 'Content is not valid'. Any idea about how to get them back ?

johanisma - please open a support inquiry at the bottom of:

Your old data is still on your computer, but if you need to get those unsynchronized notes, it would take a few steps to restore that old DB and then run the old version of Evernote to get them out.
