Hi All,

The email issue should now be resolved, and you should be able to email notes into your account.

Any emails that were sent while this issue was occurring should begin to show up in your Evernote Accounts.

However, if it still hasn't shown up and you need it immediately, please retry emailing the note and see if it now appears.

Please continue to let us know if you're encountering further issues!

I have just had an issue that the new emailed notes are not appearing.

Testing now, and no email notes
I'll give it more time, then create a support ticket  edit; Ticket# 3071011

Is this working for everyone else? I've tried forwarding from ProtonMail and Gmail to my Evernote email address, nothing comes through though. Emails between those two accounts work. Resetting the Evernote email doesn't seem to work. I've checked both in the Mac Evernote version and the Web version.

Hi. I mail into my Evernote account both directly and by redirect from Gmail accounts,  and it seems to be working for me. Are you sending from a home or a work address,  and how long ago did you send out your emails?  (It can take a while - hours - for a mail to get through sometimes...)

Also: have you searched your account for keywords in the email?  The inbound mail sometimes gets assigned in unexpected directions...

Tried from two personal accounts (Gmail and Protonmail) and a work email (hosted at MIT); email works between each of those. I'll try waiting some more, I didn't realize it could take a while. It's been about 2 hours. Thanks!

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out to Evernote Support. My name is Geoff with the Evernote Technical Support Team, and I'll be assisting you with this issue.

I understand that emails forwarded into your Evernote account are not appearing. I wanted to let you know that we've received several reports of this, and there appears to be a temporary issue with email delivery that we are working hard to fix as soon as possible. No further action is needed on your part to help pinpoint the cause of this issue, and we hope to follow up with you soon once this is resolved.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime, and thanks for being an Evernote customer.

Respectfully,

Followup from  Support - Ticket# 3071011

I'm sincerely glad to hear that you're able to forward messages into your Evernote account once more; I was previously holding back on sending the update to ensure all messages in a pending state have been delivered to the destined Evernote account. If you're still seeing some messages not yet delivered, please know we're still working to ensure they fully process, but you should be clear to resume forwarding emails into your account.

I'm still missing a number of emails that should have been recieved.

I have received emails sent after these, but before we were informed that a fix had been carried out.

Have we lost these earlier notes, if not, how long before you expect the backlog to have cleared?

Thanks for the assistance.

Hi Shane,

Thanks for the update.

I'm getting new emails into my account, but I was just checking about the backlog.

I was a little concerned about some conversations where I was seeing the later messages, but an earlier one was missing.

I've had a few turn up from 12 hours ago since you posted this one :)

Looks like I need to be a little more patient.

Once again, thanks for the update.

Take care.

The gremlin may be back.  I forwarded an email an hour ago and it has not arrived in EN as yet.  Typically it takes a minute or less.  Thanks.

EDIT.  An email forwarded right before the missing one arrived just fine, a 1 minute lag.

EDIT TO THE EDIT.  Resent the missing missive and it arrived this time.  Hopefully the first will arrive as well so as not to have to worry about lost content.

FINAL EDIT.  The missing emails arrived.  All is good.

Shane – I'm still getting the issue as of May 7, 2020, 8:27:13 AM Central Daylight Time.

And, resending the email didn't work (just resent it at 9:58 am CDT). Got an error email back from EN.

Shane, Email not received in Evernote from Mailbird. Reset email in Evernote, tried to email with and without notebook path specified. No attachments.

Hi there, just signed up for Premium Personal account.

Not seeing any emails forwarded to my Evernote account, even after I reset the Evernote email address.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions about how to create a tech support ticket, that would also be appreciated.

It may be that your mails are filtered by a spam filter EN applies. Since there is no spam folder you can review, support is your only way to check this out. Which leads to your second question.

You can reach support through the help pages of the web site. Ask any question, click on an article, scroll down, and there should be a support option. There are other ways as well, for example in the mobile clients in the clients settings menu.

Or try this link:

I have the same problem. Tried multiple times, doesn't work. Tried emailing to a different notebook, doesn't work either. Reset my Evernote e-mail, still nothing works. This is frustrating. For the monthly subscription one pays, I would expect such a basic feature to work without problems. Any helps?

Emailing to evernote doesn't work. I have attempted twice in the last 7 days and neither one were created as notes. Nothing on my email said that the send failed. I also double-checked that I was using the correct evernote email address tied to my premium level account.

Please fix this ASAP. This is an issue that is impacting my productivity.

This has worked before and I want it to work again.

I use the Email to Evernote all the time.  I sent around a dozen EMails yesterday which all arrived in my account.

However, there can be many things on the journey from your Email account to Evernote that can get in the way.  A couple of years ago my Email stopped and I opened a support ticket. It turned out that the internal spam filtering at Evernote was rejecting all messages from my private Email domain. It was whitelisted and then everything started again.

So as previously suggested, contact support via ticket.
