I am unable to open my notes,  getting the above error message

Further to above, I fixed this by uninstalling and reinstalling Evernote on my phone.  Presume it's a new version ?  Anyway all ok now. 😀

Did not work for me, this automatic update has been a disaster, I want my old evernote! I can't pull up any of my notes tried uninstalling and reinstalling, not working, I'm a long time Evernote subscriber and evangelist, but unless this gets fixed soon I won't be.

I'm having the same problem. The new version installed and now my notes aren't syncing to my phone.

The same thing has been happening to me since the update. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone but I still can't access any of my notes since the update. Is there any way to fix this?

I checked my phone for updates - and lo and behold there was an uninstalled update - so I installed it and all works well now

I have the same problem and reported this mid Apri. I asked for an update from EN on the 6 May and received a reply saying the support team are working on the problem but had made no progress.

It is really annoying when you know this product could be so good. Come on EN get this sorted

I've had this issue of the note being unavailable and then losing the info, so I'm now trying version 8.13 from 14 Mar 2020 to see if I still keep getting the problem.

Hi Nancys. If you're wanting to use an older version of Evernote, first uninstall your current version. Then you go to https://evernote.en.uptodown.com/android/versions and choose a version to try. I'm using 8.13.3 for Android, which seems fairly good. I then go into Google Play Store on my ph and into my account (which is on the top right) and then settings and turn off automatic updates.
