Evernote Search Engine OFF

VincentHS

Idea

Hello,

I'm facing what I believe is an issue, it just has to be.
I'm HIGHLY FRUSTRATED but i do have some love for Evernote regardless.

I have this note which is a command to install a software which I use a lot.

The title of the note is Install SoftwareName

The note content

is install Softwarename

then the command

The Tags are install, software name, install software name.

When I type in the search field install softwarename, the note is a middle of a non related notes which may include the software name but not both combined.

How do I change this result behavior?

It has been on going for over a couple of years but there is something I must do wrong here.

Okay so I understand it isn't something i'm not doing right.

I checked your resources and the intitle commands helps to narrow down to less than 10.

I guess i can leave with that.

This thread should almost turn and as a feature enhancement.

If the software name has spaces in it (for example, Microsoft Word), then you'd need to put the name in quotes in your search. For example: install "Microsoft Word"

If you can give a concrete example, and the exact search string you are using, that would help folks here to help you with your problem. Also, what Evernote application you're using would be helpful (Windows, Max, Android, iOS, web).

Support is restricted to paying users only. The exception for Basic accounts are account issues.

So if one wants support on technical issues, signing up to Premium for at least one month is the entry ticket.

These are the rules, not set by me ....

Requests can be posted in the forum at https://discussion.evernote.com/forum/304-general-feature-requests/

Please post a clear and concise request; not some narrative titled search engine is off MyCFAVisit

Well it got fixed, on its own.

Or because I changed some formatting by make the commands into code snippets.

The note is now at the very top and now without the quotes.

I wouldn't be able to explain why but frustration time on this one is over.

I would like to thank you for the assistance  and great suggestions.
