Gift Evernote Plus

I am a long time Evernote Plus user and I want to gift it to a friend but I can only see Premium, is there an option to just give Plus? If none why not?

Hi.  Plus was discontinued for new users some time ago.  If you already have that level of subscription,  you'll be able to continue for as long as you wish,  but no additional users can be added.

Errr I didn't know that, I knew about the Premium option but I don't need that much bandwidth so I just stick with the Plus.
