How to hide my email address

NemanFan

Idea

Sry for that newbie question but I fail to find how I can disable evernote from displaying my email address at the top of the window and when alt tabbing. I'd like to look at some notes on Evernote during my gaming live streams but the way it is now it would leak my email address.

In which file and line do I have to make a change or where can it be disabled in the UI?

ty in advance

Interesting question. I don't think there's a way to disable this in Tools > Options. For your specific purpose, my suggestion would be to open all of the necessary notes as separate windows before starting the live stream. (I know nothing about gaming live streaming, so apologies if that sounds like nonsense.) The email does not appear in individual note windows.

Select "Options" in the ribbon toolbar, then click "Show Bcc" in the Fields section. The Bcc field appears under the Cc field and to the right of the "Send" button. Type the email addresses of your intended recipients in the Bcc field. Enter a subject, type the body of your message and click "Send."

Does this have anything to do with Evernote?

This so-called @Lewis-H has been answering posts, some of them quite old, since joining on January 1, sometimes sensibly but redundantly, sometimes nonsensically, like this. In another thread, you asked whether he was a bot. I begin to suspect so. Or just somebody who wants to be helpful but doesn't really understand the subject matter.
