Arrange a numbered list

I had a list open in front of me in a note on Evernote (Mac app). By mistake I clicked some buttons and used trackpad and it selected a line (all the text for the certain number in the list) in a temporary box and now as I was moving my mouse, it was giving me an option to place the text wherever I want in the list. When I placed it randomly, it took the number of that place in the list and arranged other numbers accordingly.

I did not know this function exists and merely due the lack of this function I was planning to switch to google notes. Happy to find this function but I don't know which keys combination makes it happen. Please enlighten me if you know.
