Deleted Notes

When I am searching for a note and type in a word/tag, even the deleted notes show in the search. Does anyone know how I can stop the deleted notes from showing? I am using the plus level in Windows.

My experience is deleted notes are not included in searches

I'm not seeing this is a problem either way.

As per @gazumped, keeping the Trash emptied will solve your issue

Hmmn.  You could try syncing the database and maybe signing out of the app and back in - seems like the search index hasn't been refreshed since you deleted the Trash.

 I will try that gazumped and also keep the trash emptied . Thank you both!
