Inconsistencies between applications

estevancarlos

Idea

I understand Evernote is working on a major update which I look forward to. I use the application on MacOS, Android, and Windows primarily. I wanted to create a thread about the inconsistencies in case they haven't caught them.

Here's one. The key command CTRL+Shift+D || CMD+Shift+D creates a date on both Mac and Windows but it creates it in two different formats.

Mac: October 10, 2019
Windows: 10/10/2019 8:40 AM

So that's one thing for now.

On a Mac, the date format is configurable

Merging notes: Windows uses the selection order; Mac uses the note list order
                             Missing on other platforms

Tag Hierarchy: available on Mac/Windows, missing on other platforms

Tables: available on Mac/Windows, missing on other platforms

Import folder; built-in on Windows; Mac requires manual configuration of the OS Folder Actions

Okay, I can look into that. Is it configurable on Windows?

On Windows, Evernote uses the Windows short date/short time settings, configurable in the Windows Settings for  Date & Time
