Extra spaces

When I copy and paste from Outlook into Evernote I wind up with extra spaces between the lines. It's not critical, but it looks awful.

Here is what I have in Outlook:

And here is what appears in Evernote:

 

I have no idea how to fix this.  All ideas greatfully accepted.

Hi, and welcome to the forums! My guess is that there is some underlying formatting code getting copied over. I've seen things like this a lot in HTML text, mostly from the Web (I don't use Outlook). Sometimes doing Simplify Formatting helps, sometimes not. If it's a serious enough problem, you can paste into a plain-text editor like Notepad first and then copy into Evernote from there. But of course you lose all formatting that way, and it's a pain.
