Lost an important recording

Hi all,

I had an important audio recording on Evernote yesterday and it just disappeared on me when I clicked done. The text in the note was present but just no audio!!

This is important as I relied on the audio over note taking for capturing much needed information.

1. Did anyone go through this? If so, were you able to recover or find the audio file successfully?

2. I’ll be thankful if you can kindly share your experience, or provide any direction  put me out of this agony!

P.S:  I checked the trash folder on local as well as we webapp and the last saved versions for a backup. No luck yet..

Hi.  Did you look into Note History for a possible previous version?  No help now I know,  but I use an external app to records audio and just attach the saved MP3 file to a note.  It means I'm not asking my device to do several simultaneous things through one app,  and I can then use Evernote purely to record my notes.
