Sync differences: Nixnote - EN Web

Recommended Posts

Dear,

I already noticed a gap between numbers of notes contained in Nixnote database and online EN Web.

Nixnote (Debian Linux) shows : 1876 total notes (1713 + 163 trashed)

EN Web shows: 1651 (151 in trash)

I get

Sync error message: see message log for details

I guess it is this one:

Quote

Config files are located at:/home/emma/.nixnote/

Note database files are located at:/home/emma/.nixnote/

Main app log file is located at:/home/emma/.nixnote/logs-1/messages.log

See project wiki section FAQ (Menu Help/Project wiki) for more info how to:

* change log level

* look at log

* how to add content of log file to github issue

* how to change data location

Could someone help me to understand and guide my steps here?

Thank you for your consideration

The new web clipper may have a problem showing all notes.

Web client? Web clipper doesn't show notes (except for the related notes snippets shown after you clip).

Maybe you better go back to an earlier release, and have it count again.

If it is the web client, there are only a couple of choices for old versions: The way to do this is to go to your Evernote account settings and make a selection in the "Evernote Web" item.

Or it might be something to do with using Nimbus Note NixNote, which isn't an Evernote product.

Edit: Fixed typo "Nimbus Note", meant "NixNote"

I was on the actual version of Evernote and get back to the Classic version.

I connect with Firefox to evernote.com and use a Linux Debian 10 OS.

In my EN settings, only Nixnote application is authorized till march 2020.

Nixnote is the same as Nevernote. I do not know Nimbus...

I don't know what you mean by "make a selection in the "Evernote Web" item. "

This is all I can tell

Thank you for your help trying to sort this out.

In the web version, go to your account settings. Under "Account Summary", look for the item "Evernote Web". This will tell you which version of the Evernote web client you are using, and give you a choice of using a different one:
