Search gives limited results on MacBook

I only get a few documents showing up when I search for a term eg 'hello'. They are usually from the past 1-2yrs. Older doucuments are not showing. I don't remember changing any search settings.

It works fine on iPhone and if I login online. Its just the MacBook App that is giving issues.

Please help?!

I have a similar issue only when I search something in a note title, generally the first word in any note, I get a whole list of notes with that word in it. For example if I have a note title "Kitchen Project" and I search "Kitchen" I get a ton of notes with that word buried deep in the text and the one I'm looking for is buried down the list. Before the last update, it would always pull the most relevant one to the top. Anyone have any thoughts?

To restrict a search to the title, use intitle:Kitchen
