I backed up an Evernote local notebook as a .mht file. Can I now restore this to Evernote?

.mht is a web archive format.  A quick web search identifies The files are viewable on Mac and Windows systems within the following Internet browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Opera and Google Chrome.

I back up my Evernote sync'd notes in .html format, separate files for each note.
I open the .html files in my web browser app.
My intention is restoration of individual notes using copy/paste.

.mht is not a good format for backup of Local Notebooks
If you use .enex format; you can use Evernote's import feature.

I doubt it.  As per @DTLow use the ENEX format to backup your local notebooks.
