Highlighting seems to be misbehaving. Possible bug after update

Hi, 
I have possibly encountered a bug while highlighting texts in evernote. Below is the explanation of it on basis on the image attached. 

Case 1 : First the text is written then the color of box in table is changed to red. Highlighting remains intact

Case 2 : First the color of box in changed to red and then tried highlighting. Color of box misbehaves as in picture

Case 3 : Highlighting working normally in box

Case 4 : Box color working normally without highlighting. 

To summarize, the issue arises when we set a color of a box in a table and then try to highlight a text in it. 

I have been using evernote for quite a while and have encountered this issue today. I am pretty sure it was working fine earlier. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Please post the version number that this problem occurs in.It's in Help / About...

Edit: I do see the same thing in version 6.18.3.8477 (308477) Prerelease (CE Build ce-62.3.7750)
