Deleting Notes someone else shared with me

Hi,

Someone shared a notebook with me in the past. Today, quickly cleaning up my Evernote to get more storage space, I deleted these notes and emptied the trash.

Is this content lost for the original poster, as well, or do their retain their original notebook and notes (I hope!)? Is it recoverable?

When you delete notes in a shared notebook, the note is moved to the notebook owner's trash

The notebook's owner can retrieve the notes from their trash.
