mgiddings 0
Is there a way to merge notes and not merge duplicate information within the notes? Is there a way to cull duplicate notes within a notebook or multiple notebooks? Looking to clean up my notes and information Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 11,474 Posted February 7, 2019 Level 5* Share Posted February 7, 2019 I have looked a couple of times in my Windows Desktop client to copy the All Notes page in List view (sorted by Title) and paste the result into Excel (which includes links to each individual note). It's possible using Excel features to identify duplications in that list, and go through to view and delete superfluous copies. It takes a lot of time. I now feel it's far better just to delete duplicates whenever I see them (which isn't often) as an ongoing task. I agree it would be nice to have a duplicates finder, but (MHO) that's not a good use of my time. It doesn't recover any significant amount of disk space, or otherwise benefit my account - it just makes it a tiny bit tidier... Link to comment
